We are pleased to welcome at ISCR (Condensed Matter and Electroactive Systems team), Prof. Tony Breton, Institut des Sciences et Technologies Moléculaires d'Angers, Moltech Anjou.
Abstract
A model ruthenium complex was covalently grafted onto a carbon surface. Unexpectedly, the ligand arrangement in the immobilized state differs from that observed for the free complex. This structural modification, induced by steric constraints, endows the complex with new catalytic properties.
