Speciation in European flycatchers: the role of life-history traits and structural variants in genomic landscapes of introgression
Speciation in European flycatchers: the role of life-history traits and structural variants in genomic landscapes of introgression

Secondary contacts between recently-diverged lineages are a unique opportunity to uncover the establishment of reproductive isolation leading to speciation. Under the action of selection, regions of the genome may resist to gene flow while others may show high introgression rate. In this talk, I will present the distribution of gene flow across four lineages of trans-saharian migratory birds and discuss the potential ecological and biological causes.
